I thought it was … “meh?” Like, I could see why people were freaking out over it, which confirmed for me that people are missing out on some amazing writers if they thought this was the bees’ knees.
I totally agree about cups of tea in bed. David use to do this for me and on occasion I'd do the same. I recall a former boyfriend did the same. Thanks for this post Lucy & Happy Valentine's!
Am loving that the muppets are back (just wish I convince my kids to watch it, like I did with my mum). I could not bring myself to even crack that Miranda July book. Totally agree with your suspicion of that genre!
Love is always found in the tiny everyday things we do for those we love. In my case, those tiny things were never seen nor appreciated until I left, and now he wants them back 🙄
Not likely. I’m now doing them for someone who very much appreciates them - me 🙃
I had the convo last night with my 18/21 year old nephews that my husband making me a cup of tea was part of his love language. And that was all I needed for Valentines Day, and any other day
I hated All Fours too! OMG
So did I! Was overcome by ick halfway through and couldn’t finish iit

Wow, I truly thought I was the only one. Thank you!

The Muppet Show was pure joy!
